INTRODUCTION

The very much anticipated move-to-earn nonfungible token (NFT) game powered by Solana, started private beta testing on Nov. 3 and will be available to play on iOS and Android before Christmas.

STEPN is the world’s first move2earn NFT mobile game, with the team planning to release their public beta in late December 2021. STEPN’s objective is to nudge millions into healthier lifestyles, bringing them into the Web 3.0 world while contributing positively to carbon neutrality.

STEPN is the winner of the Solana Ignition Hackathon Gaming Track. STEPN aims to build the next generation play-to-earn mobile game. Similar to Strava and Nike Run Club, STEPN has developed an achievement system that rewards players NFT badges, along with a location-based system (LBS) integrated with Discord.

  • In-app swap: Users can swap their token earnings to other forms of cryptocurrencies.
  • In-app decentralized wallet: Users can deposit and send cryptocurrencies to the wallet to fund their spending accounts.
  • STEPN has raised 5MM USD from Sequoia Capital and other leading Web3 investors, where 16.30% of the GMT total token supply has been sold at 0.005 USD/GMT.
