In Wanaka Farm players take on the role of a happy farmer growing agricultural products on a beautiful farm inspired by the natural environment of a New Zealand South Island town called Wanaka. You can take care of crops, breed them, trade them in the market with other farmers in real time, level up their land, decorate the farm and all that in a relaxing and beautiful environment.

Wanaka Farm requires you to have a challenging strategy to manage resources, time and money. Unique point of the game is the Pet system for your automatic farming and the hybrid scholarship (Rental system) to let you Farm and Lease your NFT land at the same time.

In Wanaka Farm we believe that NFT games should offer fun and rewarding gameplay. That’s why we’ve integrated blockchain technology smoothly into the game interface and created another off chain P2P market so you don’t have to worry about the typical complexity and costly transaction fee of NFT games. Just relax, play and earn.

Play Mode

Farm mode: The users will be able to play as farmers to grow, feed and water their growing items like cabbages, cows… doing the daily quests and weekly quests to obtain $WAI rewards, they can also get the mutations from their growing items that generate more $WAI.

In this mode, game players can also sell or buy their products to get the required items for the daily quests, or to earn extra income from the sales to other users.

In order to raise the capacity of the land and more high-grade crops available, Landowners should burn the $WAI to upgrade their land(s).

In Wanaka Farm, You can experience the trading of products in WanaTrade, a P2P market integrated into the game’s internal platform, which means that you will not have to pay gas for real-time transactions. You can buy, sell, level up land and trade NFT items all without leaving the game.

Rental System

In addition, players can access our own version of scholarships through the Wanaka Farm Rental System. NFT land owners can publish multiple contracts to put their land for rent and without putting other players in control of their gaming account. That also means they can still play with their NFT besides sharing it with the tenant to make the most use of it.

Total Earning Through Scholarships

As a tenant, you can control your own inventory, all the profits generated by the land rented through the rental system, the NFT produced, the profits from the trade only belong to you, not sharing with the Landowner except the renting fee that was agreed at the beginning. Both sides can keep on extending the renting contract if they agree to keep the term and conditions. Playing on rented land gives the player access to all the features of the game.

Pet System

If you wish to receive help in taking care of the farm, beautiful and skilled animals will be at your disposal through the Pet System. Wanaka Farm pets can sow, water plants, feed animals and fish, breed seeds, and help produce better quality crops all automatically, allowing players more free time to spend on the WanaTown and minigames in the future.

Play-to-Earn Model

Wanaka Farm, basically is a P2E Game; A Farmer who owns NFT land can grow, breed to have more seeds, harvested items; process the harvested items into ingredients and make new production items and submit to the quests for earning the $WAI token. NFT-free users must also invest in renting the Land and paying $WANA to play and earn. Totally-free-user mode is under development and will be available in early of Q4.2022.
